optimax Logistik + Disposition GmbH (Saalfeld, Thuringia) was founded in 1997 by Elie G. Daniel († 2006). The company is the region’s leading supplier of logistic services to Great Britian and Ireland. With central focus on the “Emerald Isle” the Saalfeld team has filled a genuine gap in the market: only a few shipping companies – mostly in Eastern Germany – concentrate on this territory.
Since 2006 the company has been run by Markus Daniel. Together with his experienced team of employees the founder’s brother has steadily continued to build upon the success of optimax. The business’ strengths: optimal service, highest level of freight coordination and the highest quality of processing. Above average dedication of each individual employee, country-specific know-how, flexibility, customer satisfaction and a feeling for their needs characterize the company philosophy from optimax and has, of course, the highest priority. The result of this way of thinking is a reliability rate of 99.7 percent.
The certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 came in 2003. With state-of-the-art equipment approved subcontractors guarantee the compliance of the logistics chain, whereas the continuity of the personnel policy establishes a basis of trust between customers and suppliers.
Only the most modern standards are adequate enough for a relations specialist like optimax. More and more shipping agents are recognizing the advantages compared to “one-stop-shopping” and gladly turn to the experience optimax has to offer. With a fixed schedule for freight shipments and regular driver training programs this Saalfeld company meets the demanding requirements particularly for the automotive industry. The optimax Logistik + Spedition GmbH has a number of customer references from this industry where precision plays a major role. The Saalfelder stand for continuity and flexibility thorough just-in-time and just-in-sequence shipments for notable service providers, suppliers and carriers of the automotive industry in Thuringia and the bordering federal states.
Every day the lorries leave on a fixed schedule and head toward cities like Dublin, Belfast, Manchester or Liverpool. In summer and in winter, through storms in the English and Irish Sea, through traffic jams in Germany’s Ruhr region or ferry boat strikes at the port of departure: A time slot of three hours for a distance of over 1,300 kilometres will be adhered to. Day in and day out!
